Parklings support from Peckish Bird Food

A fabulous weekend at The Park. The Parklings had a great time making Insect Hotels and miniature "parks in a tray." A huge thank you to Luke and Noor from Peckish Bird Food who supported our Parklings activity. They provided many of the materials that created the insect hotel and continue to support The Park by providing us with bird food (and running trials with different types of bird food) to fill the feeders they've installed at The Park. We are going to monitor the bird species and numbers that visit the bird feeders. Their ongoing support is hugely appreciated. The bird feeders and insect hotels are the start of a "wildlife outdoor classroom" area which will also include classroom seating, chalkboard, information boards and a wetland habitat... among other things!
