A huge thank you to Rob and Kenny for getting the hedge planting all set up and for all our volunteers who planted 900 saplings in rather frosty conditions!
Wildflower meadow still has some flowers going strong.. and our tree plaques look fabulous in all weathers. More available if anyone else would like to adopt a tree at The Park. 🌳

Another fabulous outdoor event for our young people at The Park. Please come warmly dressed, with a torch (it will be dark!). If you have any binoculars / star gazing charts please bring them with you A volunteers event - Saturday 25th November 2017 from 10am.
We are planting around 1000 hedge saplings, plus a handful of trees. We need helpers please to come and join in the fun of park creation. This will form a boundary between The Park and Wayne's agricultural land. You will need to bring gloves, trowel and spade and something to kneel on. We are planning on serving soup and bread afterwards as a means of thanking volunteers for their help. We would be grateful if you could let us know if you are intending to come, so we have an idea of numbers. Rob Lee is leading this event - so either let him know (17 Main Street), send us a message on our facebook page or via our email which is [email protected] Thanks as ever for your support of this fabulous project. We were amazed at the wildlife already resident in our wetland area! Full details under "Kilnwick Parklings."
