October 2016 - The Park Update

Another busy month!

We reached the local press, with a wonderful article published about The Park by "Driffield & Wolds Weekly newspaper."

Our meetings, grant applications and project planning continues in earnest.

Further consultation is carried out with Kilnwick Youth Club (youths aged 4 to 16 years old present to offer their opinions).

Nigel Stinson (Charity Member) and Robert Lee (Charity Trustee) attend an ERYC "Playground Inspection" 2 day course (funded by Village SOS), in order to become accredited to carry out weekly / monthly / quarterly playground inspections.

We had a busy weekend locating a longstanding pipe across the field... and quickly realised that community help, expertise and machinery are the way to proceed!
