Approx 70 volunteers joined us to plant our first 420 Woodland Trees in November 2016

A further 420 Woodland Trees, 50 Fruit trees and 62 Specimen Native trees were planted in March 2017 by around 60 volunteers!

Everyone WelcomeThe Park will enhance the health and wellbeing of all ages of the community through exercise, play and recreation.
The wildlife habitat creation will provide an outdoor learning space and an opportunity for local young people to develop their confidence, skills and abilities through volunteering. The Park will act as a focal hub for the community and be a base for celebration and fundraising events. |
To provide local communities with a recreational space where they can safely exercise, socialise and play.

To enhance biodiversity through native woodland and habitat creation. Wildlife educational resources for families, schools and playgroups will be created and utilised.

To encourage local people to make a positive change in their lives by developing confidence, skills and abilities through volunteering.

To revitalise communities by creating an inclusive focal hub for local community clubs and groups to utilise and for community celebration events.
