Parklings - our youth events for the rest of 2018. Dates for your diaries! We are extremely excited about plans for the rest of the year!
All events (unless stated) are free of charge, but a parent / guardian needs to remain with the young people during the events. All young people need to be registered at their first attendance and sign in is required at each and every event.
Further details will be announced in advance for each event (especially if weather particularly awkward - but we are pretty hardy and most events will run even in bad weather) but this gives an overview for the year!

What fun!! Hope you can join us! 🌳
We are thrilled that The Park has been enjoyed by so many with the recent run of good weather 🌞 and school holidays coinciding.
However we have noticed an increase in litter, which is disappointing. Please make sure you take home all your litter. The Park is maintained by our wonderful volunteers and they would prefer to be maintaining our current facilities and creating new exciting amenities, not picking up other people's rubbish.
Please think of others and take your litter home.
A huge thank to you our young volunteers for litter picking and sorting recycling this week. 😃🌳😃
This Saturday (14th July) is another Volunteers day, commencing at midday and finishing with a group BBQ.
We are hoping to install the slide onto the newly shaped mound and install our wooden tractor and trailer unit. We are also hoping to do some tidying up of the longer grass.
If you can pop by for the whole afternoon, or just half an hour at some point, your efforts would be much appreciated.
Children are welcome to attend with adults as long as well supervised.
Please bring gardening gloves, shears, trowels, wheelbarrows, shovels and the like - digging and grass cutting kit!
Many thanks and look forward to seeing lots of you there!
This is where you can find all the latest updates on the Park project - from the organisers.
