Grand Opening - we are delighted!

Well what an incredible weekend.

We were overwhelmed with the feedback from our visitors. The main theme was amazement that a community could unite in the way that ours has, to achieve so much as a team effort, and wonderment at the lovely facilities (and the anticipation of return visits).

We really couldn't have hoped for a more joyful, fun and musical weekend, and we are really glad you came to celebrate with us.

After a lot of thought, planning, paperwork, discussions, voluntary efforts, inspections and build up - we are open! It is the start of a new exciting chapter.

A HUGE thank you to our visitors, but an ENORMOUS thank you to all the volunteers, helpers and sponsors this weekend - particularly Big Lottery Fund who supported our Grand Opening weekend via the "Celebrate" grant. We couldn't have put on such an amazing show without that support.

Also a huge thank you to our very own John Superchef Benn of 2 Chefs Beverley who catered for us the whole weekend (spending all of last week preparing) with all profits going straight back to The Park, Kilnwick's creation and maintenance fund. We are hugely grateful to John and his team.
