We've had a swap around in the Parklings calendar.
This Saturday 16th September we are bulb planting amongst the native trees. Please meet at The Park. Event is free of charge and runs from 2-4pm approximately. Please bring gardening gloves and trowels and come appropriately dressed. A parent / guardian must stay with their young people. We are hoping our bulb planting of narciccus / crocus will create a fabulous display next spring and for years to come. A fortnight later (30th September) Zoe will be running an Agility Trail session - details to be announced (but will be 2pm start).

Bulb planting is a good idea to allow the community, build their relationship with one another; children will also enjoy doing this kind of activity. As early as now, kids will be able to learn the importance of planting. It is can also be beneficial to nature. In addition, the park will be a big attraction when spring comes. I wish that many came to the said activity. I hope that you can get up with more events like this in the future.
