A huge thank you to Brian and Joel from the Play, Sport and Art Service at ERYC for a superb Bushcraft session at The Park yesterday.
The "Kilnwick Parklings" learned about making their own compasses, working out directions, using shadow sticks and fire making (using a variety of methods!). A great session that was much enjoyed

Last weekend's Parklings trip was a huge success. We had a guided tour which included bird identification, education about grass snake habitats and fungi, pond dipping and bug hunting. All ages had a fabulous time.
We intend to visit again in the spring as we had such fun and it was much enjoyed by all ages of Parklings (and adults!). All events on 2-4pm unless stated.
